Needlefelted Needle Book

The natural lanolin in wool is wonderful for storing sewing needles. It keeps them smooth and shiny. To take advantage of this, Cindy will show you how to make a little needle book out of wool felt. You'll decorate it using needlefelting for the fun in addition to the practical! You need ZERO EXPERIENCE. Cindy will have ideas for you, or you can create your own. Price: $33. Supplies: Needlefelting kit (sponge and needles).

The cost of the class includes the felt and the roving for the basic needle book. Optional: Favorite button(s) for closure, yarn for trim (should be at least 50% wool), small cookie cutters or stencils for shapes, circle template, scissors (with points) that can cut paper and/or card stock. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 6-9 p.m. Teacher: Cindy Alley.
